Danny downgraded

Danny has been downgraded to a post-tropical storm and never did become a hurricane.

Danny is now expected to be mainly a rain event with winds not expecting to be a major factor (possibly gusts up to 50 km/h).

A rainfall warning has been posted for much of southern New Brunswick and Nova Scotia as the storm passes along the Atlantic coast.

Greater Moncton could see 50 to 70 mm of rain which is quite significant – about half the normal total for August.
