Tornado touches down in Saskatchewan

Mammatus Clouds above Moose Jaw, SK, 26 June 2012 (TWN)

At least one tornado touched down near Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan yesterday.

The Weather Network says the twister hit a wide open field and no damage or injuries were reported.

Environment Canada issued a tornado warning for the area but that was dropped about an hour later as the storm cell weakened.

At the same time, strange looking clouds could be seen above Regina and Moose Jaw yesterday.
