Hot in Kouchibouguac!

Kelly’s Beach, Kouchibouguac National Park, 05 August 2012 (Dearing photo)

It was such a warm day on Sunday, to escape the heat I decided to go to the beach – Kelly’s Beach at Kouchibouguac National Park.

But there wasn’t much relief since the temperature reached 32.7 C which was just shy of the daily record of 33.4 C!

Luckily, a strong ocean breeze cooled things down a bit and so did a dip in the water which was about 20 C.

It was another warm day across New Brunswick with 31.4 C in Moncton and 33.6 C in Charlo, the hotspot in the province.
