Magnolia trees in bloom at Moncton’s Riverfront Park, 09 May 2013 (Dearing)

Greater Moncton broke a record high on Wednesday.

The temperature climbed to 27.0°C which eclipsed the previous record of 25.9°C from 2007 according to Environment Canada.

On Tuesday, we reached a high of 26.6°C which came close to the record of 27.2°C.

In northwestern New Brunswick, the thermometer has climbed to almost 30°C this week.
