No evidence of tornadoes in NB

Severe thunderstorms and high winds in western New Brunswick yesterday have not left any evidence that a tornado touched down according to Environment Canada.

A rare tornado warning was issued for Grand Falls and Victoria County Sunday afternoon.

Several residents also reported seeing a possible tornado in Hatfield Point, northeast of Saint John, on Saturday.

Severe thunderstorms rolled through Greater Moncton on Friday and again on Saturday when a dramatic temperature drop from 24°C to 12°C occurred in less than three hours.
