Karen meets a cold front

Southeast New Brunswick will see a wet start to the week thanks to a strong cold front from the west which is drawing moisture from the remnants of Karen.

Greater Moncton can expect up to 20 mm of rain through Tuesday night with gusty winds at times up to 60 km/h according to Environment Canada.

Meantime, much of the American Gulf Coast returned to normal today after Tropical Storm Karen weakened to a tropical depression before making landfall with winds and rainfall well below warning criteria.
