Fast moving systems dump more snow on N.B.

When we woke up yesterday morning in Greater Moncton, the sun was shining but after 15 cm of snow had fallen overnight in just a few hours.

Flash forward to this morning, the sun was trying to break through the clouds after another 8 cm of snow had fallen overnight.

The latest dumpings of snow are thanks to a couple of fast-moving low pressure systems which moved up the Atlantic coast and over New Brunswick toward Newfoundland.

More precipitation is in store for the region this weekend but given milder temperatures in the forecast, rain is favoured over snow.
