It wasn’t much and it melted quickly but Greater Moncton had a trace of snow this morning as a strong Nor’easter finally moved out of the region.

Moncton recorded the most rain in the Maritimes from this system with 66 mm while on the other side of the rain/snow line, Perth-Andover had 30 cm of snow, Bathurst saw 23 cm while Fredericton had 12 cm.

Schools were closed in western and northern New Brunswick while thousands lost power thanks to strong winds which gusted to 83 km/h in Moncton.
