No more snow in Greater Moncton!

Snow can typically make an appearance in Greater Moncton from October through May but hopefully this post will be the last to mention snow until next season.

Meanwhile, Environment Canada confirms that we did break a record between 01 January and 30 April with 440 cm of snow breaking the previous record from 1963.

However, the seasonal snow record from 1974-75 still stands at 531 cm while the winter of 2014-15 delivered almost 507 cm of snow.

Although it is still possible another 24 cm or so of snow could fall this month and set a new record, I think the general hope is that won’t happen.
